In 2014, there were 2044 search and rescue operations in Oregon alone.  If you spend any time in the outdoors, you need to know how to find your way.  Don’t become a statistic!  This class will teach you how to use a compass to navigate in the wilderness and avoid becoming lost.

Although this is a beginning level class, we will be delving into great skills and strategies to improve your confidence and security outside.

Compasses ARE PROVIDED for this class and we will talk about what to look for when you buy your own.  We will be navigating around campus so please dress for the weather.
