Few fishing baits can match the spinner in attracting fish and eliciting explosive bites. Yet the spinner is easily lost, expensive to replace, and most are designed with the fisherman in mind and not the fish. In this class, you will learn the basics of what makes a spinning lure effective and when to use each color, type, and size. Finally, you will make 5 customized spinners to take home with you to try at your favorite fishing hole.
I pulled in this Summer Steelhead on one of the spinning lure I built specifically for summer steelhead. If you have not tried spinners yet for salmon and steelhead, you should definitely give it a try!
